Programme delivery
A programme of taster workshops, specialised training linked to projects, artists’ development and access to higher education and pathways to employment
Examples include:
The Virtual School, ICT (The carrot - the incentive to do well at The Virtual School) is DJ skills, Short Film Making, Recording Studio Development; Music technology using Cubase, Vocal Training. Individual Music tuition.
Comic Strip Club, Mask Making, Art classes, Film Project, Plus sessions in Drama & Theatre skills, Street Dance, Freestyling
The programme to be delivered from our main site. We have access to a range of training facilities including a state-of-the art ICT training suites. Courses run during the day to fill a engagement gap in the community. Average course length is 6 weeks, 16 hours per week, 3 days per week (Mon-Wed). All participants undergo a needs analysis prior to starting their activities to ensure their full needs are identified.
