Somali Media Group A meeting between Professor Abdulkadir Jibril, feature writer Harun Hassan and Chris Haydon, Director of Community TV Trust, has led to a renewed campaign to raise funds for a large scale Somali media project designed to assist the UK Somali diaspora.A first meeting of representatives from four London boroughs is to take place on 12th January 2006 at the Rockingham Community Centre, Elephant & Castle SE1 at 4pm. |

Elephant Links Support without Money Professor Abdulkadir Jibril points out that while he is asked to sign his approval for the Delivery Plan, Elephant Links is currently not supporting any local organisations with money for their services.Heygate and St Matthew's are also represented on the same committee and are also unhappy about the state of play. |

Somali Cultural Project A plan is being prepared for a cultural project that will introduce old, traditional clothes and artefacts from Somali history. This is to be coordinated by Mohamed Guled who is voluntary youth worker at the Rockingham Youth Project. |
