MONDAY NIGHT VIDEO AND INTERNET PROJECT We have begun a new project on Monday nights. Following the loss of the Leathermarket project, we have developed a project based around media in conjunction with southwark.tv, a web based community project. The project is aimed at getting young people interested in various types of media, and showing off stuff they have produced. Southwark.tv are here to help young people develop ideas around film-making and video editing. The southwark.tv website can help young people get started learning web design. Young people can also do animation and photography. We have plenty of computers with Digital Imaging software. It is also an opportunity for young people to show off stuff they have already produced. We can show of artwork, photographs, poems, lyrics, stories and music. Also, the club is open to young people who just want a place to hang out aswell. All the usual youth club facilities are open on Mondays too. If you would like any more information, just call Alex on 020 7403 1676 or pop into the Rainbow building. |
