The Bellenden Residents’ Group (BRG) is the local community group run by residents for residents in the Bellenden area. Local traders are also welcome. The aims are to give local people a voice in matters which affect them in the area, and to help to safeguard and nurture the local community. One key task is to develop a good community network of people in the local area to enable them to communicate easily on matters of mutual interest and concern. Bellenden is the area south of Peckham Rye station in south west Peckham. It lies between Grove Vale, Goose Green, East Dulwich Road, Peckham Rye, Rye Lane, and the railway line between Peckham Rye and East Dulwich stations. This website is being created by local residents to give information about Bellenden and the BRG to local people, and help local residents to communicate with each other about matters of local interest. The website is still in development and suggestions and comments would be welcome.
