Through volunteer support it is the aim of Community TV Trust to give this wonderful organisation a voice. Over time, with the training in website management that will be given both to staff and to volunteers, and with the provision of broadband that has been requested to the YMCA centre, Community TV Trust intends to help Mr. Sonny - the director of Yangon's YMCA - to bring us news and stories and images of life in modern Myanmar. 'Orphans' may come from families too poor to be able to provide their child with an upbringing. "Message from U Vum Za Lian, B.A.(English), Chief Tutor,Yangon YMCA Learning Centre. We desperately need volunteer teachers from overseas.The teaching is all in the English Language and volunteers will be assisted by Myanmar language assistant teachers, most of which have batchelor degrees from Myanmar universities. Our priority is to offer Certificates,Diplomas and Batchelor Degrees from Overseas Universities in English and English Literature. Some of our brightest students are unable to pay even the small fees charged by YMCA and sponsorship of individual students is always welcome.
